Better management of photo backups than the main idrive app has. Only issue is it seems to take a while to discover and upload all your photos. I had to refresh the photo list on the app and free times before it found everything. Possibly an Android limitation. Also, like other photo apps, does not let you view photos by source folder.

The drive photo app is great. Please fix the timeline functionality using "date taken" field for HEIF or other file formats. Currently, using "date modified" or "date created" field gives wrong timeline outcome.

I honestly didn't get the point of this app. Considering current features of drive photos, imho it makes a lot more sense using the drive mobile app and centralize cloud drive and backup there. If it is reassessed to provide a better photo-oriented experience, then it could make sense to have a specific app for this.

Auto upload does not work on Wi-Fi or cell, data from 2 weeks ago still not uploaded even tho it knows it has to upload it. Never does. App needs work it's way behind other cloud services and not reliable.

This app is a total mess. When uploading images or videos, instead of considering date taken or date modified, it relies on date created making all uploaded image dates today only. Second, when deleting photos fromt the web, the app still keeps the thumbnail. While it can't load the full image, it still ahows the thumbnail, which you need to delete from the app again.

I'm not sure how you guys are syncing the files from mobile device. I uploaded files from different folders and all the files are backed up in idrive at file level and not at folder level. It gets tough to segregate and categories. Not sure how you guys missed such basic thing. Since it looked like a recycle bin with all files in one place, I tried to delete them thinking it will delete from idrive, but unfortunately It deleted all the files from my device too....
