The first screen of the app was out of place. Top part of the page was not completely visible. "Take small actions to help..." was the first part of the text that was visible. First impression is very important. When I clicked on the first screen nothing happened. I had to press "back" to see the apps interface (could be more intuitive and easy to navigate for the user). On the second screen the app says that my monthly CO2 usage is 1139 kg. Why? Based on what? I haven't entered any information :) The information (little i inside a circle) is very small and hard to click. Clicking on it displays info, if it's important, adding a reliable source, date & author might be handy. The app could use from a simple tutorial. A slide system for example. Page 1 explains the apps purpose, page 2 explains features. Keep it as simple as possible. Just swipe right to see next pages. The fewer slides, the better. Many apps use this approach for the first time launch. This tutorial should be easily accessible for users in future as well. Beef eating info panel doesn't include other protein alternatives & info about their carbon footprint. Chicken isn't the only alternative :) Home insulation panel doesn't include information about homes size. The info can be misleading. Some potential users might trust other (even if it's correct) info less if other aspects of the provided info are misleading or lacking or not properly sourced or up to date. Spreading the word talks about reducing meat consumption by half. Half of what? There are no numbers. Reduce meat consumption panel discusses india. Why? Is India the best example for the average user of this app? Maybe there would be a better example which could be suited for a broader audience? Recycling panel "learn more" link points to a YouTube video on the subject. This is the only learn more video I checked. It covers the subject, but I'm sure that you could find better videos. It would be best to have your own YouTube channel that covers these subjects in a simple, informative, up-to-date manner. Sadly I don't have the time to go over all the panels, so I'll be brief. You recommend Ecosia, are you sure 100% sure that the company does what they claim they do? Have you done background checks? I would recommend giving the user a choice on how many panels is displayed to them. For example after the tutorial the user can choose: "Brief - 3 minutes reading time - 5 panels; Detailed - 6 minutes reading time - x panels, etc.). Tne current amount of panels is overwhelming. I've studied the sustainable development field in the university, have work experience in the IT field (concerning this feedback - some years as a software tester, software tester trainer & developer - developer as someone who comes up with products, solutions & ui, but does not program it) & to me the amount of information is too much. Again, it's great to have this info, but I think that regarding this app and the purpose, it might give better results if the user had a choice of the amount of information they want. In the phone panel you suggest keeping your phone longer. How long? Which phone companies do you suggest? You may mention this in the video linked in the extra info panel, not everyone is going to access it. Which information is most important? Is Apple good? What are the most common phone brands? Give some examples. Statistics, theory are important when it comes to education and learning. So are real world examples. There are different ways of learning. Some people learn best when the information is in the audio form, others learn better in text form, some in a combined form etc. - some people benefit greatly from practical examples. The app is missing a dark mode. A considerable amount of people prefer (or even only) to use a dark mode (for whatever reason). Having such a feature doesn't harm your app in any way. Thank you for making this app. I wish you all the best and hope that you & your project are very successful and reach a large amount of people. Your message is very important. XOXO

Worthy. Pointless. + Probably Spyware. If we each "do our bit" while actual criminals in a few corporations intentionally distract us from effective action, cataclysmic climate change will destroy our civilization. Instead, Google "Crying Indian", "2 vs 3 degrees", "Merchants of Doubt". Demand that your bank & pension provider stop financing fossil fuel 'investments'. To feel better, connect with Extinction Rebellion. To educate the unconvinced, connect with the less contrarian conservatives.
