I have switched my Grizzly E Smart charger to running in dumb mode. Seemed like a good idea at the time of purchase -- the app has worked on and off since purchase (one year and a bit). The app does not add much value to a single home lev 2 install -- I get all that I need from the KIA Connect app. Plus it's a pain to have to take the cover off the Grizzly E and reset a dip switch to enable Wi-Fi -- surely this could be achieved in software (like most IOT devices). The review is about Charge Lab as applied to Grizzle chargers. The charger unit is excellent - the app is not made specifically for it, it seems like a collaboration allowing Grizzle to claim it has a smart charger version. As such, it works. You connect the phone once to Grizzle's hotspot and configure login to your Wi-Fi - a bit unusual, but it works. As promised, it will let you view charge status and track history - though not in the simplest way. I haven't used Explore or Schedules.

Basically useless. At the moment my car will start charging regardless of the schedule I have set within the app. The app does not say the car is charging, but a quick check with an ammeter shows the car is charging at 20A. I fully regret purchasing my grizzle charger and the charge lab garbage that comes with it.

I registered my Au tel Lite charger and after doing so the charger wouldn't initiate. I then switched the OCPP back to Au tel and the charger still would not work. After two months and countless hours with Au tel support they have determined they cannot fix the charger and are sending me a new one under warranty. The rebate per kwh is not worth it has given the risk.

Well so far is not allowing me to set the schedule it keeps rejection whatever times I set it to. I'm using the Grizzle Smart
