chess2board turns a photo of a chess board or handwritten scoresheet into a digital position or game in seconds. Point your camera at a physical board, an on-screen position, or a game sheet—the app detects pieces or transcribes moves so you can review, correct, and use the result in your chess tools.

HOW IT WORKS — BOARD 1. Open the app and photograph a position—from a book, a screen, or a live game. 2. Check the result on the interactive board, flip the view if needed, and tap to fix any mistakes. 3. Copy the FEN, generate a PGN, or open the position in Lichess, Chess.com, and more.
HOW IT WORKS — SCORESHEET 1. Switch to Scoresheet mode and photograph your handwritten game sheet. 2. Review the transcribed moves and correct anything the AI missed. 3. Copy or export the PGN and paste it into your favorite chess app.
PLANS The free tier gives you 2 scans—each slot recharges 24 hours after use—plus the board editor and FEN & PGN export. GM mode (one-time in-app purchase, no subscription) unlocks unlimited scans, scan history, no ads, and priority processing—depending on what the app offers at the time of purchase.
IMPORTANT Positions and move lists are produced by AI and may contain errors—always verify the result before using it in competition or for critical analysis.
