This application serves to generate one of the possible 960 starting positions of the chess variant Chess960 (Fischer-Random-Chess). The rules are exactly the same as in standard chess. Because of a different starting position castling works a little bit different.

Works well to generate new starting position for chess 960 (NB not designed to play chess, just to get the starting position for chess960)

There should be an option to directly enter the position which the user wants. Sliding the bar to get the position is a bit difficult. Like for example I want position 005. There is no way to enter 005. And sliding it is difficult, like I get 004 or 007

Works exactly as expected. For all the 1-star reviews complaining that you can't move the pieces, this is a chess960 starting position GENERATOR. When playing chess960 on a real board, it can be bothersome to try to randomize the starting position. This app is meant to do that for you; you are not meant to play on the app

Useful program, small file size, does what it should. I understand this isn't to play a computer, but adding a strong chess computer to try out all of these positions would make it a perfect 5/5, but it's worth a 4 to me since it can come in handy for what it is.

I can't move any of the pieces! This app sets up the pieces and lets you select new starting positions with ease, but it doesn't actually allow me to play the game. I can't move any of the pieces.
