Paying for fuel with the license plate means the easiest and most frictionless experience. We will make card payment and the right fuel pump ready for you automatically when you enter a Circle K station and stop by the fuel pump.

You don’t need to locate your payment card and verify with a PIN for each fuel transaction, it’s all taken care of through the app.

Simply download the app, sign in with your Circle K extra account, enter your payment card details and license plate number, and you are ready to go. If you do not have Circle K account, it is easy to sign up.

The technology is safe, similar solutions are used in parking garages, toll roads and mobile pay solutions.
- How it works
When you enter our stations, a camera will read your license plate and activate the fuel pump next to your car, using the payment card you have entered in the app. You can choose if you want to approve each transaction by clicking once on your smartphone or if you want the process to be completely automatic. Once the transaction is complete you will get a receipt to your smartphone.
Pay for fuel with license plate will be gradually rolled out across Circle K network, starting with Sweden in 2021.

I like the app and the concept, but 50% of the times it doesn't recognize my car

Works nicely and quickly. Have used it multiple times now and haven't had any issues so far. Can pay much quicker and without the multiple confirmations the Neste app has now. But there needs to be a way to increase the payment amount - €100 with the current fuel prices can fill something between 1/2 and 3/4 of the tank. Wasn't able to fully fill it up even if I had 1/4 of the gas left.

This is a good app and works as smoothly as expected. The only issue that I see is with deposit holding duration. It takes more than a week to release it. I filled 2 cars, one on 6th and the other on 7th of this month. 2000 Kr were put on hold for each of these cars making a total of 4000 kr. Today on 14th, after 8 days, 2000 kr deposit from refilling on 6th were released and the other 2000 is still on hold. This is actually preventing us to make purchases by holding a certain card limit.

Implementation is bad: a) cannot remotely fuel, when someone uses my car and needs to fuel up b) cannot share car number with my wife - or in my app, or in her c) very unstable car detection (~25% detection rate) d) problems detection the car manually e) no option to send the receipt to a mail (to company invoices e-mail), you can just download the receipt and send it manually

Doesn't always register car or pump. At least 80% of the time, I have to MITIC verify payment, which involves switching windows from app to browser, to MITIC, back to browser, and back to app. When manually selecting a pump, you have to wait 30 seconds for it to try to register you automatically first. I have NEVER experienced it was able to automatically detect license plate like that. All in all, way slower than just paying with your card.
