Description
Introducing the Markdown Editor app, the perfect tool for anyone who needs to create and edit markdown files with ease. With the ability to open ".md" files directly from the explorer, you can easily access your files and start working on them right away.
The app also offers a convenient way to style your text with options such as bold, italics, headings, and more. Adding links is also a breeze with the simple interface.
In addition, you can preview JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, and WBMP image formats right within the app. You can easily open links from the preview, making it easy to navigate between different files and sources.
Choose between Light and Dark Theme Modes, and use the Dual View Mode to simultaneously view both the preview and editing views. Alternatively, you can use Single View Mode to focus on either the preview or editing view.
The app also offers the ability to clear text and start from scratch, as well as create new .md files or edit existing ones.
This Editor was developed using Flutter and is mainly targeted for mobile devices as currently there aren't any standalone markdown editors available.

Can be great, add recent files list + add swipe left & right panels + confirm on exit popup needed + back button switching from preview to edit mode. Only app to have dual (editor + preview) for markdown, apart from Epsilon app. Editor page in dual mode needs to be bigger. Also needs: Add "WORKING FOLDER" of notes (workspace folder) + SETTINGS in menu with more options. I've tested hundreds of markdown apps Linux/win/android, this can become Betty Android MD app 👍

I like the interface. Is it possible to allow opening txt files and any other text files like json, yaml, and others? They're still texts, and I don't mind them not being formatted.

I had written several documents using this app as I was unable to access a laptop for several weeks (away on holiday). This morning's update deleted the files in the Markdown Editor, and I've been unable to recover my documents, including checking in the Android/data/com.Aditya.markdown_editor/files folder on my computer, which is empty now. This has deleted several tens of hours of work.

Pros: Can be used to view markdown files when opened from app. Cons: Saving is broken and doesn't work. Doesn't open from file explorer as advertised (it just has an error cannot open file). Open in other apps works just fine but would help if it worked.

The app is really good overall, but whenever I save the file I'm working on it creates a new copy of the file and appends a number to the end in parentheses. This is creating extra copies of the files, which is annoying, but also the new files aren't usable directly because the number it adds is after the .md, so it's not a md file anymore.
