I switched to BookBeat from Audible about a year ago and never went back! The title selection has everything I want, the sound quality is perfect, and I adore the UI within the app. However, I'd really appreciate if there was a date countdown for books that will be taken off the platform, just like for Audible. This way I wouldn't get disappointed when I finally want to get a book I've been eyeing for a long time, and then all of a sudden I can't find it anymore.

Best audiobook app I found so far. The price for students especially is great. The only thing that bothers me, is that they reduced the hours for the lowest tier to 20. But then again it's very nice, they let people who already subscribed to that tier, keep the 25 hours. Audible has a bigger selection with their exclusive titles but this app has like, a lot of options as well and at a much better rate. Love the new feature of creating different lists of saved titles too.

Wonderful app. No trouble at all. I do have a wish for the future that this app gets a desktop version as well. I listen to audiobooks while I work and having to switch from phone headset to PC headset multiple times a day is quite a bit tedious.

Cannot unselect Swedish as a book language (it is locked). Just because I am fluent in Swedish doesn't mean I like listening to books in Swedish!

Asked me a couple questions to "find my taste", then proceeded to suggest me endless Finnish language books even though I only listen in English.... 🤦🏼‍♀️ Edit: I have only listened to one book in Finnish, rest in English, so this response is not accurate.

I loved this app then without any warning, they remove all the graphic audiobooks and the ones I was mid-way through - I purchased the 100 hours at £18 for the month, so I could listen to all the books I had waiting, but went in to continue listening, and they've been removed - I still had 49 hours left - DO NOT download if you're dyslexic like me (or ADHD) and prefer the graphic audiobooks, since they grip you into the story more - I've cancelled my subscription and I want my money back!
