Best audiobook app I found so far. The price for students especially is great. The only thing that bothers me, is that they reduced the hours for the lowest tier to 20. But then again it's very nice, they let people who already subscribed to that tier, keep the 25 hours. Audible has a bigger selection with their exclusive titles but this app has like, a lot of options as well and at a much better rate. Love the new feature of creating different lists of saved titles too.

I switched to BookBeat from Audible about a year ago and never went back! The title selection has everything I want, the sound quality is perfect, and I adore the UI within the app. However, I'd really appreciate if there was a date countdown for books that will be taken off the platform, just like for Audible. This way I wouldn't get disappointed when I finally want to get a book I've been eyeing for a long time, and then all of a sudden I can't find it anymore.

A great app with a good assortment of books. I find it has less of a variety than other apps such as audible however it's very reliable, user-friendly and offers audiobook and e-book options which is helpful. I think the quality of the audio on the app is great. Overall a good app. The only aspect that could be improved would be to have the options to have more books, contemporary and historical

Asked me a couple questions to "find my taste", then proceeded to suggest me endless Finnish language books even though I only listen in English.... 🤦🏼♀️ Edit: I have only listened to one book in Finnish, rest in English, so this response is not accurate.

I loved this app then without any warning, they remove all the graphic audiobooks and the ones I was mid-way through - I purchased the 100 hours at £18 for the month, so I could listen to all the books I had waiting, but went in to continue listening, and they've been removed - I still had 49 hours left - DO NOT download if you're dyslexic like me (or ADHD) and prefer the graphic audiobooks, since they grip you into the story more - I've cancelled my subscription and I want my money back!

Gives you 30 hours free as a free trial, but if you listen to the books sped up you don't get 30 hours. I always listen at around 1.75x so I've only had about 17 hours listening time which is done in a few days. It also cuts you off part way through a book, I only have 15 minutes roughly left of the book (although it won't even let me see exactly how far I am unless I upgrade) but im unable to complete it. I'd prefer to keep using audible and buy books so that I know I can at least finish it.

Cannot unselect Swedish as a book language (it is locked). Just because I am fluent in Swedish doesn't mean I like listening to books in Swedish!
