It's good, but I wish it either had Google Maps integration (launch the route in Google Maps) or it used the Google Maps hazard API (for construction, cops, etc.)

Long-distance EV driver (~2000-mile trips). Removing manual charge targets made routing less usable. The app now targets low arrival SOC (15–20%). Variable charge targets increase attention + recall load. A consistent target (~80%) is easy to remember and becomes routine, whereas variable targets require recalling a new charge level at each stop—a small but cumulative effort over long trips. Please restore manual targets or add a global option.

So much better than I expected. If longer journeys are a regular thing then ABRP premium is an absolute must. Integration with the cars system and planning a route on the app or an on computer makes it much better than any other planner I've used.

I tried adding my home and work info, but it wouldn't take it. That's only a minor issue though. The route planner wouldn't even start without having selected a car. Granted, I have a PHEV, which apparently aren't supported. But there isn't even the fully electric version of my car available. I would've loved using this for I've been driving exclusively electric since gas prices went through the roof. Now I'm just disappointed.

The app seems to promise so much. Using a OBD dongle to communicate with the car and plan routes accordingly would be excellent, if the route planning was any good. I have given this app a year of used to see if it gets better, but I keep going back to Google Maps as the routing options are far better. ABRP reports traffic, but does not update the arrival time, so it is always a guess how long a journey will take. Charging planning is also poor.

I don't like the new app that came with v7. This was the best and most detailed travel planning app where you had the freedom to set every little detail about your trip. Now you have only the basics: ev, battery degradation, current SOC, arrival SOC, speed setting and that's it. Still the most prefers app for me but only because I have used it before. With current user experience it has nothing more than any other ev road planning app.
