Great for quick basic things, but where's dark mode gone with the latest update?

Contrary to what some reviewers report Qnap regularly updates its apps. One guy even criticized the fact that the design of Manager has remained largely unchanged. IMO this is to be applauded, there is no reason to change a design just for the sake of it and in this case the opening screen is simple and functional. True, there are issues that do need addressing but in my experience QNAP are always quick to respond to emails, although it is probably best to build up pressure on the forum.

Perfect for seeing device health and for checking some tasks... I thought I would be able to access ALL NAS settings in this app, but unfortunately only some, and that is limited to web UI. Also, very helpful to have for NAS notifications for tasks, etc...

It has been doing the job with no stress. In my opinion, I wish I could have access to the fire wall from it as my NAS keeps blocking one of my computers on the network. I am not sure if I am the only one who had the experience asking for Qnap costume support help. It was a first-class service that I had not seen the same level of efficiency for, at least in the last 20 years. It is incredible, I was forced to take my hat off for the team, and I couldn't avoid it. Well done, QNAP.

After the latest update (8 May 2025), I can no longer login into my NAS via this app. Works fine via the browser. Something is broken! 😠

Communication with the server(ts453be) is very slow. Not understand why qnap not fix it

"Wake on lan" function on manager worked only once for my QuTS Hero 1288x, then stopped working. What a shame... However, the "wake on lan" works on the qfinder pro. But the qfinder doesn't support Android! In summary, I don't have "wake on lan" app to wake up my qnap 1288x from using Android !!! What a shame to qnap... Yes of course I always have my vpn client running on my Android mobile phone. The WOL of the manager only worked once and that's all.... Finder pro doesn't support Android.
