FAQ/Tips How do i use the widget Event Flow is a widget, so you need to place it on your homescreen from your widget list. The procedure varies slightly depending on the specific Android version and your device model, but it usually is done by long pressing on an empty place of your homescreen, selecting the "Widgets" option and dragging the desired widget to the homescreen. The widget is not updating That's probably because your device has some kind of battery saving settings that prevent the widget from updating (it needs to update itself once a day and before/after each event). Please check your device's app and battery settings and make sure that they don't interfere with the widget's operation. You can find more info here: https://dontkillmyapp.com/ Why aren't reminders available Google hasn't yet made reminders available for third-party apps. We're keeping an eye on it to see if that changes. My Outlook/Exchange calendar isn't showing up If you're using the Outlook Android app, go into the app's settings, select the account you want to see and make sure that the option "Sync calendars" is active. If that doesn't work/isn't possible, you might be able to add your Outlook/Exchange account in your device's Settings->Accounts, and access those calendars via Google's Calendar app, which should also make them available on the widget. My Birthdays/Contacts/Other calendar is not showing up or is not being synchronized The widget only reads the local calendar database that's on your device, which is maintained by Android and your Calendar App. Sometimes there can be issues with the synchronization, and a refresh can help: In your device's Settings->Accounts->Select your account->Account sync refresh the "Calendar" and "Contacts" option. Then, open Google's Calendar app, go into the side menu, and deselect/select the affected calendars. How do i set up the widget to look like in the screenshots Most of the screenshots show the 2 widgets simultaneously: On the top place the Calendar Widget, resized to occupy one row, and on the bottom the Agenda Widget, without the header (configured in the agenda settings). Then just choose the colors you like the most. I would like to select an exact color for one of the options In the color picker for that option, tap the center circle that displays the color and you'll be able to enter the Hexadecimal code for the color you want (include the alpha component - 0x00 transparent, 0xFF solid color). You can also copy/paste that code to/from another item.
Permissions We dislike apps that ask a lot of permissions without justifying them. So here's what we need and why: Calendar: To read your calendar events. Without this permission the widget doesn't work, so it is mandatory. Location: To show the weather forecast for your location. This is optional, you can opt not to grant this permission and not show the weather forecast or manually choose a location for the forecast.

Comments on Event Flow Calendar Widget for Android

Working great! Good UI and exposing just the right level of customization! Just make sure you keep enabled "Share Google Calendar data with other apps" in the Calendar settings. Would be great if we could display up to 6 months of events on the agenda widget instead of 3 months max at the moment.

The agenda view is not showing any calendar events. It's just blank. I just recently updated to the pixel 10 pro and the latest version of Android. Edit: the dev team responded quickly to my support request with acknowledgement of the issue and a resolution in the coming days edit: back up and working as expected

With oxygen os 16 on oneplus R, the widget become too small when the home screen layout is changed to 5 columns rows instead of 4 columns.

I thought it was nice and paid price for ths full version but after 2 days I notice that the date on the Winget don't change. It keeps on showing the same date and event from the day I placed the Winget on my phone screen. 😔😔😔😔 And also if I keep changing something on the setting. The Winget will be all white and blank

For some reason it's not showing a shared family calendar in the widget even though I've set it to display that calendar's events in the widget settings. When I add a widget for the Google calendar app to my home screen it shows up fine in there. Even if I untick all other calendars apart from that one specific calendar in settings it still won't show.

Downloaded for the agenda and paid for premium, but the agenda is not showing any events on my Samsung S22 Ultra

When tapping on a calendar entry from the widget, it used to pull up that event in the calendar. Now when tapping on an entry it pulls up a blank entry like you're going to add a new one. Samsung 25+
