My QuitBuddy was updated in late May 2025 to provide a new user experience and support even more people in their quitting journey.
- If you are having issues opening My QuitBuddy (e.g., seeing a blank screen), please ensure that you update to the most recent version. - If you are unable to proceed through the app, please check your text size settings, as some people are having issues when using larger text sizes. - If you are experiencing issues with your quit date and/or quit progress tracking, please select ‘Already Started’ when the app asks when you quit. Then enter your original quit date (and other details like costs) so the app can calculate how long it has been since you quit, and your progress. - If you have already selected a different quit date, re-install the app so you can fill out your original details. Please note that reinstalling the app will delete any stored data such as journal entries or motivations. For privacy purposes, My QuitBuddy is not able to adjust or recover lost data.

I really love this app it's helped so much I'm on day 67 of no smoking or vaping, there's support if needed and games to distract you, even a journal section to write down how you're feeling and a community section to share your story or feelings with others I also love the little motivational quotes I get every day to great app

I quit May 28, 2015. With this new update, all my info has disappeared, but when trying to re-enter it, the app won't let me set the date. I can set the year to 2015, but the day and month automatically spin back to today's date (1 Nov) Dev reply is a daft. If it's only a 10yr counting app, then why does the date spinner list years that go even further back.

I'm quitting successfully and this app has NOT helped me. The automated messages the app sends are annoying to me especially one today which told me something like I'm not at risk of fire from exploding vapes anymore ! The health information provided is overly basic. The app assumes that one is nicotine free once quitting, however people who have quit smoking or vaping may be using nicotine replacement therapy. The Aust govt could do a better app. Happily uninstalled app today.

I got this app today as I'm just starting to try and quit vaping, I get past the terms and conditions and can't even type my name in before the app closes itself
