MediaMonkey is a lightweight yet powerful music player that lets you manage and keep large music collections in sync across your devices. Key features:

The following explains our disclosures in the Google Play Store regarding data safety: o Email address and device identifier is only 'collected' if you explicitly 'Submit a debug log' (encrypted in transit, deleted after 90 days) so that we can get in touch with you. o Videos, Audio Files are only 'collected' and transmitted when you explicitly: - Sync media content with MediaMonkey for Windows (files and file metadata are transmitted from MediaMonkey for Android to MediaMonkey for Windows--they are not shared with us). - Cast media content to a Chromecast or UPnP Server (files and file metadata are streamed encrypted, from MediaMonkey for Android to your cast device--they are not shared with us). - Give Android Auto access to MediaMonkey content (files and file metadata are shared encrypted, from MediaMonkey for Android to your Android Auto device--they are not shared with us). - Enable 'scrobbling' to share play history with others (metadata of played files is shared through your scrobbling client with last.fm--the data is not shared with us). o Media file metadata is only shared with 3rd parties if you enable track information to be looked up (file metadata [Artist, Album, Title] is shared with 3rd parties in order to look up additional related track information--the data is not shared with us).

A good mp3 player app overall. One big issue is the Track 1 bug, where the first track of every album seems to be stripped of its metadata when imported and has to be re-entered manually.

This gets a 5 star partially because it does what says it'll do, play media, but more importantly SOMEHOW it's the ONLY media player app that I could find that would let me reorder playlists.

For me, this app does not work at all. My android file transfers always times out after like 30-40min, and for some stupid reason this app's sync starts at the beginning again, meaning I can never transfer more than the first 1000 songs of my media collection, no matter how many times I restart. Really stupid programming, probably to push users towards the paid Wi-Fi sync.

EDIT: That answer u gave me is a Bummer! I'm currently in the hospital (going on day 37 now) and I can't get access to my PC at work! Are there any other ways to access Google Drive in your app? Do I have to pay again for the Windows version of Media Monkey? Will it even work on Windows 7?? ----Bummer! I can't add any cloud servers like Google Drive! Is it even possible?

Was working perfectly fine until recently. I was having some technical issues, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now whenever I try to open it it immediately closes. Can't seem to find a fix for it

MM has a great interface and once you're using it it's absolutely fantastic. But getting to that point is so frigging frustrating. I would love to pay for the life subscription, but I won't pay for an app where the only tutorial videos are from the 1800s. Every time I create a new playlist on my pc, I have to delete all my tracks from my phone and then re-sync the lot again. Please please please make a new tutorial video on how to sync with cable and how to choose folders and permissions.
