Love this app...been using it for nearly 6 yrs now and is my 'go to' for looking for walks with my walking group. The icing on the cake would be the ability to make a video of my walks....but I'm happy with what this app provides meanwhile.

Overall the app is awesome, but there are a few bugs and issue e.g. planning a route only has hiking or cycling where it is nice if it allowed more off a selection instead of editing it afterward as I dual sport or 4wd to help make the route more possible Other issue I find annoying when planing a route a lot of the times it'll plan a route we can no longer access via dual sport or 4wd and no way off knowing until your there

Fantastic views, just a little late to catch the full beauty of the bright autumn colors. This loop hike was done anticlockwise from Parauta and conditions were perfect with a firm tracks and paths encountered along the way. To get the very best in autumn colors I'd advise that the hike be done in late October early November.

Premium account needed!!! You install the app, you register, you find your route, you want to follow it... well, you can't! You need to pay to get premium and have access to "share" the route with a device or from your phone...

Paywall. I chose the trial, but still couldn't get to the trailhead using my phone. It could have been that my data connection was spotty but, I'm not looking to hike in the city. I now have to figure out how to cancel before I'm billed, and It wasn't cheap either.

Useless unless you pay a subscription. But they only tell you that after you've gone through the trouble of creating an account and signing up. Before, they make it seem like you'll be able to download routes for free after you sign up, but no, even though it's been user generated, and it's a public space and a free sport, Wikiloc intends to act as gatekeeper for public information.

Had literally ONE hiking trail in my area when where are actually hundreds of established trails. When I clicked the big option to define my search area, thinking it wasn't able to show me all the ones available just from using the map, it instead immediately demanded I pay $14.99 for this feature. Don't waste your time. Fastest uninstallation of my life.
