Description
Bringing Concerto, open source digital signage to your Google TV!
Use your Google TV as a player for a Concerto installation. Enter your Concerto server's URL to connect a screen to an existing network or check out the preconfigured demo server to get a preview of a digital signage ecosystem.
Note: This app requires a constant connection to the internet, just like a regular Concerto player / live CD.
Recent changes: Moved settings to use device's setting control instead of the back button. Added the ability to launch Concerto via intents, like concerto://yourserver/?mac=123 Added support for non-GoogleTV devices and devices as old as Gingerbread. Report bugs here: http://goo.gl/KUVG8

Awesome Protocols are overrated, and content is oversized

Intriguing application but fades could be smoother
★★☆☆☆
Lovely idea - but it just goes to a black screen and there's no way to point it at the Concerto server - no settings at startup or by any sort of poking, prodding, or other mad gesturing on the screen. "Connecting to concerto TV server", then black, then screen goes to sleep. Not particularly useful, uninstalled it, begin to be highly dubious about the sign server being useful, since most of its display options don't seem to work as described, and those that do work are not very useful for my application.
