Actually this app is really awesome, but there is a small issue with the video slider in Android TV when I am moving slider forward or backward the slider automatically goes to the starting position of the movie plz try to fix this issue as soon as possible, and I have used emby as well the UI of emby is awesome, but I want this type of UI in open source software like jellyfin. I hope jellyfin team will work to make their free project better than other competitors like emby...

Jellyfin is excellent but the official app for Android TV is a bit lackluster. There are limited options for displaying your media compared to the web client, and you can't delete media from the app. The WebOS app is a bit better.

Absolutely horrible app I have it installed on an android box and u can't even turn off subtitles with it, and it always displays subtitles and there is no option to turn them off absolutely horrible app that is buggy as can be. I even told it to use the external player, and it still displays the subtitles. Absolutely horrible app don't waste ur time with it! March 14, 2024. I would give it 0 stars if I could!

Removing libel super in the latest 0.17 released was a huge downgrade. Now users have to transcode if they don't want to use an external player which. External players don't send any playback info back to Jellyfin.

This app feels dated. App theme does not follow server side like web UI. No theme music feature. Please update app to same as web UI.
