Comments on Core IRC Go for Android

Good first impression. If u make /j as /join, /q as /query command and auto add # on channel name that will make life simpler :) And left slide from the right side to show username is faster and easier than pressing the I button.

★★★★★ Mia S · Oct 10, 2020

Finally, a free IRC client that doesn't suck. Hope to see updates, as it would be nice to have some features like chat logs and search.

Here is how the World sees a chat in Cyrillic: [03:28] Иванчо88: здр ко пр бепце [03:30] Марийка: Хей, ами тъкмо се готвя да претакам зелето, ти? Here is how Core IRC Lite sees it: [03:49] <_> [03:39] * - п²п∙ п║п÷п·п■п∙п⌡п╞ п▓п░п╗п≤п╒п∙ п⌡п≤п╖п²п≤ п■п░п²п²п≤ Otherwise all good. Android 10 (MIUI 12.0.8) @ Redmi 9C NFC

Your chanel server is the only one available unless we pay to talk on more than 1 network? The network I need to talk on is available only if I pay, because you're only allowed 1 network unless pay upfront.

Doesn't support XDCC, but rather than tell you that it just crashes when you try to receive a file.

★★☆☆☆ Daniel Crookston · Jan 30, 2021

Seems to work okay, setting it up and connecting was easy. But it doesn't allow the kind of connection that Free node requires, so I can't connect to the only IRC server I care about.

★★☆☆☆ Dimitar Tsonov · Jul 6, 2021

Good idea but... There's no char set settings, so you can never read if the channel/server is set to lets say Windows-1251 char set... Ergo, the app is unusable in some countries with different char set settings.
