Nikoli, the Japanese puzzle house, named and popularised sudoku from 1984, and we have commissioned 20 puzzles from them for this Classic Sudoku 2 app. We have also created 20 ourselves, and sourced 20 more from Sam Cappleman-Lynes, the brilliant British sudoku expert. The result is a wonderful 60-puzzle pack which will delight and challenge you.

I love this game! It's made it hard for me to play other sudoku apps because the controls/UI are inferior lol. One small feature I wish it had is a toggle for the pen tool visibility. Sometimes it's hard to see highlighted numbers (from selecting that number) when they're also colored. There's also a bug right now where the pen tool lines don't appear over fog of war. Finally, I wish you guys combined the puzzles from your other apps into this one. I want to play more killer and chess sudoku!

Very nice collections of fun variant Sudoku. Just a few annoyances that prevent it from being 5 stars: No way to autofill cells with candidates; you have to select them all, click 1-9, and then eliminate conflicts. Placing a number in a blank cell eliminates conflicts, but givens don't. Harder puzzles are locked until you solve enough easier ones. As someone who already plays medium to hard variants, the easier ones can be tedious (see also above issue with autofill). Battery usage. No more chr

It is a challenging and nice alternative to the standard sudoku! I think that GAS2 #16 puzzle is wrong. The initial rules are not correctly applied.

CTC apps provides awesome puzzles, but I'm really missing the "draw line" tool from Sven's Sudoku app that is featured in the CTC videos! It would make this app a 5-star app in my eyes.

In the newest Worm set of puzzles, Connecting the Dots is written so poorly I have 0 clue what the basic rule set is wanting me to do. Even the first hint is giving me no idea what the rules are asking me to use to solve this

Edit: Reduced to 1 star, hint system is vital to learning yet is rife with errors and shallow. Needs a skilled editor. Great curated puzzles, improved interface vs. previous apps all the while providing better but still imperfect hints. This app is as much a battery hog as its siblings were, has sluggish moments when selecting multiple cells, and flags completed puzzles as incomplete if you close the app upon puzzle completion, usually partially resetting progress in the completed puzzle.

Agreeing with a couple of other reviews .... And using a review as a way to feedback as no other clear way. Have always really enjoyed CtC - the different types of games and packs, but the latest set (approachable sudoku) in the CtC app is letting the side down. The hints/lack of them is shocking. If this is supposed to be an "entry" into the others for new users .... It fails! It's as if no one bothered to check or give any thought to them. Sad
