In Sandwich Sudoku, the puzzle is presented with extra numbers outside the grid next to each row and column. These numbers indicate the SUM of cells sandwiched between the 1 and the 9 in that row/column. The logic required to solve the puzzles will appeal to anyone who enjoys normal sudoku and a bit of basic maths. Each puzzle here has been lovingly hand-crafted by Mark Goodliffe and Simon Anthony, the hosts of Cracking The Cryptic. They've even included their own hints on each puzzle to help if you get stuck. Mark and Simon have both represented the UK many times in the World Sudoku Championship.

I love it!! I mean, I can't give anything else than 5 stars to thermo sudoku either, but I've saved the last levels of sandwich because they are just so much fun =) I hope you make a sandwich sudoku 2!

This is the best interface for sudoku I've played. The puzzles are handcrafted and fun to solve. The hints could use some work. Often there are not enough, or they aren't explained how they came up with the digits.

Love the puzzles, this was my favorite of all the ctc sudoku apps. But "updating" the UI to match the CTC app was a horrible mistake. The simplicity of the previous UI was fantastic, the CTC app UI is overdeveloped and unintuitive in a touch screen environment. It also drains the battery. It would be fantastic on a larger screen, but not on a phone. And moving the puzzle around when you click on the numbers on the side is horrendous for those of us with ADHD. Revert it and I'll rate it a 5.

This app used to be perfect, but I'm really not a fan of the new layout update. The traditional layout setting is nothing like the old layout. I wish there was an option to revert to the previous format, I much preferred that.

Fantastic puzzles. However, the updated UI, both for puzzle selection and for gameplay, is awful. There was nothing wrong before. Please revert to puzzle selection grid and uncluttered gameplay controls. Current controls do not match the screenshots here -- I want those back.
