Comments on Danfoss Eco™ for Android

★★★★★ A Google user · Oct 15, 2022

Easy to install on existing Danfoss valves. Easy to set up valves setting times and temperatures

★★★★☆ Viktor · Oct 12, 2025

Great app, great product, only pet peeve is that you can only set two temperatures, so if you want to, for example, quickly raise the temperature in a room in the morning, you can't. You can only set it to open earlier or lose one of the temperature ranges by making one of them the designated warm quickly setting.

★★★★☆ Martin Wilson · Jun 22, 2024

User-friendly interface via the app, SO much easier than accessing deep menus via multiple button-presses on the valve head. Gives calendar-style options for holidays etc. Can be a bit slow to connect. Only significant downside for me is lack of push-notification for low battery - but that is a battery-saving feature in itself.

★★★★☆ Rune Broberg · Feb 27, 2021

So far, having just used it one day: works fairly well. Sometimes fails to connect or takes long, other times it's swift. I see two major functions I'd like: 1) being able to group thermostats where I have more than one radiator in a room, 2) being able to tell all my thermostat or all in a group "I'll be out for X hours from now, go to the lower temp setting".

★☆☆☆☆ He Ho · Dec 15, 2020

Initial setup of the thermostat works. Then for every time you want to change the temperature/schedule, it cannot connect, not before you do Add Danfoss Eco again, and this might fail multiple times before it finally connects. This has happened in the same way with 3 different Android phones. Even just leaving the app in the background will disconnect the thermostat, even if Bluetooth is on, and it was connected 2 seconds ago. The other side to this is that a short press might lower temp to low.

★★☆☆☆ Silvia Foresta · Mar 29, 2026

Valves consume a lot in batteries, and you're not notified when they run out, unless you check each valve at a time. Also, when changing temperature there is no way to "confirm" other than closing and reopening the app and listening carefully to the valve opening/closing. It's frustrating and very much not user-friendly.

★★☆☆☆ Stefan Laszlofi · Jan 16, 2023

Why can't I just set the settings for all the thermostats in the app, and then it can connect to all the thermostats one at a time, instead of me having to connect to the thermostats one at a time and setting them up one at a time

★★☆☆☆ Carolien Blom · Dec 18, 2024

Thermostats were easy to add. Super simple app, so simple that it is not very efficient. F.e. can't easily change the temperature of a room that is different from the schedule, have to change the temperature for every thermostat in that room. Also, kinda slow connecting at times.

★☆☆☆☆ Johnny Rex · Dec 16, 2022

Sooo slow to content, even slower to switch between thermostats. Not that the thermostats, are any better; It's like they forget, what temp they should keep, often I find that one or more, radiator is running full heat, even though the thermostat is set to 17c. Easy to fix though, just pull the battery, and reinsert, reconnect wit the app and the thermo remembers how to close again.....
