It simply works! I put my phone with max volume close to the clock which I want to sync, and after two minutes, voilà, it's synced

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Casio GW-M5610. Middle volume on the speaker, watch in front of it on its side, gives L3 signal. Worked great.
★★★★★Pete Bannigan· May 2, 2021
Worked as indicated in the instructions. On my Citizen watch, I cannot properly receive the DCF77 signal from Mainflingen. First I used an atomic clock app to verify that my phone time was set to NTP, it was showing lag of 1.494 seconds but by going to the date & time settings in the phone and toggling automatic time set off then on, the phone updated the time and the atomic clock app showed a lag of only 0.190 seconds, good enough! With a rooted phone, you can get apps that will automatically sync with NTP, but for uprooted phones you can only sync with your providers time (AFAIK).

The App needs to source time from NTP rather than using the Phone time as source. Time is always off by 1 - 2s. Get time from NTP time-servers, and it would rock ...

Tried w a samsung phone on a watch and a clock. Nothing worked for me. It triggered receive indicator on the watch but failed to set time.

Stopped working on new Xiaomi 14t, app us ok, but dcf devices do not respond. Old phone was ok and synced the time successfully.

How can this be the dcf77 emulator if it uses the phone clock to make the synchronization?? Please! It's not any atomic sync, be aware!
