With DB Call a Bike, you can get around spontaneously and flexibly, 24 hours a day. You can rent a bicycle at any time and anywhere in Germany at affordable rates. Our bikes are often located near train stations, for example in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, and Munich. With just one app, you can use Call a Bike, as well as StadtRAD Hamburg and Lüneburg, and RegioRadStuttgart. Rent up to four bikes at once with a single account. Find your bike on the interactive map, rent it via QR code, and pause your ride or end it at a Call a Bike station. The app lets you see all available bikes and stations at any time, and always keeps your bookings and costs clearly visible. Get started: register, hop on, and start riding!

Pretty good app but really hard to find where to drop the bike. Yes, you can say "show me where I am" but it doesn't show where you are, only the area. The area where a drop is possible, but where is it relative to me? Disappointing, and while searching, the clock ticks. Other possible improvement: - show the drop stations in Google map. - show the navigation through the city. - combine with Google map to show navigation through the city.

Sign up process was a bit janky but once you're in, the app works decently. Bikes are abundant around inner Cologne. 7 gears is nice to have :)

Never seen an app so whack. The name, the registration process, the way to understand that this is the app needed to unlock these bikes instead of just using mvgo, everything. As for registration, you cannot simply use your existing db account, then you need to verify your mail, then put in your payment details like SEPA, only to log in to your bank account trough this app again. Afterward they send you an authentication sms, which never gets to you. To be honest, don't even download it.

I have had terrible experience with this app. When I have tried to pause the ride, I couldn't unpause it. I have called customer support which told me to leave the bike, and they will scrape the charges. That didn't happen and furthermore they have charged me additionally for where I have parked the bike (which they told me). I have been in contact through email to get refund back, they say they refunded me but no money. Terrible app, do not recommend.

Nice well-maintained bikes. I would have loved to rent one. Unfortunately the button "unlock this bike" in the app was unresponsive, so I could not rent a bike.
