No email provider is even near tutamail when it comes to security. I can't imagine how the world would be, if companies like tuta wouldn't exist.

Locked out of my own emails. Logged on just now, and suddenly it showed a screen with my two tuta email accounts asking me to log in. So I logged in using my fingerprint, but then it asked for my password again. I forgot the password but had the recovery kit code, so I did that. But it returned error and said invalid log in credentials. This app is such bull man.

DO NOT INSTALL. Made and email, and it doesn't work at all. I cannot receive emails and there's nothing in the trash or spam. Not recommended for important sign-ups.

I can no longer log into my account. My password is correct, and I have the recovery code, but I've been locked out for a whole month. There is no direct way to contact you. All my accounts are linked to this email and are now frozen. My paid subscription expires in a month, and I am about to lose all my emails and data.

I've used this for a couple of years now after upgrading to pay. I was a free Tutanota customer for many years before the rebranding. The email is buggy, many people report issues and the team is not receptive to criticism. I believe they run their Reddit where pointing out negative experiences doesn't go well. Noting the same issues over a period of years with no fix is abysmal (empty inbox, all mails to spam, needing to use the web version just to get a working client). I'll be migrating.
