★★★★★ Calibrated with a calibrated meter and it works pretty darn well. Evo 3D.

★★★★★ Seems to work on my LG-E739 (T-Mo myTouch)... ...now I just need to find a way to calibrate it. Might have to see if any local stereo shops have SPL meters and if they would be willing to let me calibrate with it. (A top hearing-aid manufacturer is only a few miles away but I doubt they would set me up in their soundproof room with a tone generator and SPL meter.) On my LG-E739 it registers about 46-48 dB with my mini-fridge being the only noise I can hear. With a fan and my computer running deciBel is showing about 56 dB. The loudest I have gotten it so far is about 91 dB when clapping just inches above the phone. Some sort of database where users could enter their calibration values for specific phone models might be helpful. I really like the fact that it shows the dominant frequency!

★★☆☆☆ Excellent but.... For years and years, I've always loved this app, and found it worked better than my $200 dB meter, but since moving to the Nexus 6P, it is completely incorrect. Not sure if there is a developor option to disable the noise cancelling mic?

★★☆☆☆ Limited by phone's mic capabilities I have noisy neighbors and wanted a scientific threshold to measure them by. Unfortunately, my phone's mic doesn't pick up sounds that aren't in the immediate proximity of the phone.

★★☆☆☆ Lie This tools is not true Not make sense, im just talking & it goes 60db But with the real decibel meter if im talk it just go to 15-20db, if it goes to 70db it like an exhaust of racing bike
