Comments on DEPSTECH for Android

★★★★☆ David Hamburger · Dec 2, 2021

If you have a Wi-Fi endoscope, READ THE DIRECTIONS and connect your phone or tablet to the Wi-Fi of your endoscope (in my case, WFE300_*****, just like the manual says!) in your phone/tablet's settings, NOT in the app. That means you won't have a Wi-Fi connection to the internet, because your phone/tablet is connected to your device instead. Then, when you open the app, it will already be connected, and will show you the video. Not the most functional app, but it does what it's supposed to and works fine.

You guys pushed a software update to the phone app and broke what was working just fine. No video anymore. The earlier version of the software worked flawlessly. 3.4.0 software + WF010 Camera is broken. Edit: phone updated and it works fine now.

Would Never connect to device, and I tried several devices. Rendered the camera completely useless.

Don't update software - I mistakenly updated and nit I can't use the enderscope all I get is a black screen. Much like other users I now have a broken brick. C'MON DEPSTECH get your act together and fix the app!!

★☆☆☆☆ Philippe P. · May 10, 2022

USB Type C audio cable from Samsung triggers a follow asking if Deps tech shall capture audio. Even stopping app or settings app to Wi-Fi won't prevent that. This is a problem introduced in new version
