Improved! Updates have improved the usefulness and make the app more user friendly. Still kind of quirky but works for reading books that are easily available through Deseret Book. It would really help if bookmarks were saved to the cloud so that when devices are changed they are there already.

Poor Some of the ebooks that I have been interested in purchasing I would rather buy from deseret. I think that if you want to encourage people to buy from your site rather than from google or kindle then you have to make an app that works. it takes over the screen brightness, there is no tool bar to purchase books directly from the app. You have to go to the website to make a purchase. Also highlighting is finicky and very irritating.

Android version is not good The db app is pretty good on my ipad but I can hardly stand using it on my android. Brightness setting and no night mode are both annoying.

Frustrating reader As an avid reader who uses several apps for ebooks, this is the most frustrating one I have installed. It can't keep my place, jumping back to the beginning of the chapter when I need to stop reading or even accidentally tilt the screen. It tries to highlight whenever I touch the screen to scroll. I really want to read the books I purchased from Deseret Book, but I'm wishing I bought them in a different format as this reader is ruining my experience.
