**How to install the full game** 1. Install the DevilutionX app. 2. Long press the app icon, and select Import Data, locate and select the DIABDAT.MPQ file (or use a scoped file manager to place it in the Android/data/org.diasurgical.devilutionx/files folder)
Hellfire support also requires hellfire.mpq, hfmonk.mpq, hfvoice.mpq and hfmusic.mpq

Really great project. The android UI sits over the original game interface meaning you can play the original game but with the convenience of touch screen controls. This game beat me when I was a kid, and I never thought I'd be able to complete it but this app allowed me not only to beat the game on normal but also nail nightmare and hell modes. Thank you developers.

This is difficult to get working with the stupid Android restrictions (11 and up I think) on the Android/data folder. But, using tools like Shikoku with wireless debugging did the trick for me!

Great mod, all the way. The only gripe I have is that this port features only base game of Diablo 1, whereas the PC version is integrated with Hellfire expansion as well

So excited to hear there was a working copy of Diablo 1 with QOL built in. Just to find out they nominated themselves to fix game aspects that weren't broken. They opted to break the game in areas and is otherwise no longer the same.

It was a nice try, but it really looks like who did this never played a modern ARPG on a smartphone. Autoaim works so bad that 90% of your deaths will be you not locking on a monster and fighting back. Also, auto aim does not lock the next target, you have to basically smash a virtual button 🫤 spells and arrows target enemies 50% of the time. Sometimes you start moving randomly and. Guess? Die. Buttons are incredibly small on phones and can't be moved nor resized.

Still expected to pay $10 or have access to PC for this to work. I'm tired of the excuses and the sidestepping. Guaranteed fraction of the functionality on mobile, for twice or more the installation effort, all in the name of chasing the nostalgia dragon. What a sick joke. Save your breath and energy and put it into maybe not sullying the name of a classic like Diablo. If installation were so easy, you'd be able to explain it within a reply, yet you just repeat sidestepping statements. F
