Based on my experience (with a mix of storage/panel radiators) the app is now stable, and works relatively well for a limited feature set. The ecosystem lacks the ability to integrate with anything external (Google Home / IFTT / Home Assistant), which is the biggest disappointment. It's also not the most intuitive, especially with economy 7 where you get more data on the radiators. Once you get your head around it it's not as bad as you might get the impression from many of the older reviews.

This app works as intended, enabling grouping and control of Quantum heaters remotely. Daily energy consumption is tracked and displayed. It does not however, appear to link to any other form of home automation (hence 4* only) which would be really useful. Note to Dimplex, consider integrating into IFTTT.

I've used the app for over a year now with the Dimplex hub, 6 Quantum storage heaters and a hot water cylinder, and am pretty happy with it. I don't use the reporting function so can't comment on that, but for general control of the heating and hot water it works well (and is great for controlling the system remotely). It took a bit of time to work out the best position for the hub itself (which communicates with the heaters using RF rather than Wi-Fi) but once that was sorted it's been fine.

Gets you to first sing up and then asks you to set up a hub, which a don't have/want. Should just be able to control one device directly via Bluetooth in my heater.

Quite buggy, Was locked out the other day due to a system error. The app often miss reports energy usage, on a number of days this month it reports usage over 200kw when my storage heaters can only use 50kw maximum. Also, no support for modern smart tarries such as octopus agile. Would be good to see adoption for variable half-hourly rates. Further, support for geofencing to trigger an away mode cons ever energy. The dimplex controle app is a good start but still years behind others
