Easy to control temperature and modes and to see different rooms. Would be nice if it was easier to set up a timer without having to build a whole schedule to keep the ac on for half hour

A good functioning app but only one small thing I thought was silly - when you have multiple units, and you have to do a firmware update for each one individually, you have to close the app entirely before being able to update the next one. When you've updated the firmware on a unit you get the "update completed" screen, when you go back to your list of units, and you click on the next one to update without closing the app first, you instantly get the "update completed" message again.

I've been using the Onecta app now for over 2 years, I have 2 AC units and 1 air purifier that's controlled by it. It's really very good and I love it, being able to control everything remotely is just fantastic, and can also save you money if you accidentally leave something switching on. Just log on the app and check everything

Works well, most of the time, but occasionally drops the connection and goes offline. We have five Daikin units, and three that are compatible with Onecta. Out of the three, only one reports electricity usage.

Well design app very clear and simple to control and use. Usely manual remote command are very complex difficult to read understand and program. This app is truly so easy to use that I don't use any manual command anymore...

Functionality is limited. Poor app for sophisticated aircon system. Can't do a short-term boost of heating or cooling. Everything has to be on a program or on / off

Constantly loses device and reconnecting is flaky at best, or non-functional. Why can I not just type credentials into the handset and wall unit? The manuals and the user interface are different, and the qr stickers don't actually contain the ap password - it's hard-coded into the wall unit (!!). It also seems to have wiped ask my usage data too. All I want to do is set a schedule, it should be that the wall unit is in charge, and easy to adjust.

Daikin doesn't provide lan only support without the app. The clima always overshoot the temperature

We have two Daikin Uluru Sarara units. In Onecta with the newest WLAN module firmware, they still show “model not available” and only offer basic controls: mode, temperature, air swivel. After years, still no energy data (the IR remote can show it!), no precise airflow control, no night/silent or powerful or fresh air mode... The app also has scaling issues via Windows Phone Link. Very disappointing app support for such premium units, unexpected from Daikin! Hope the situation gets better soon.
