The other reviewers' comments don't make sense to me. Of COURSE the app doesn't work when you connect the microscope to the computer -- it can't be a peripheral to your computer and your phone at the same time! And yes, changing the magnification means you have to refocus -- that is how microscopes work! The app is basic but works fine. The microscope creates a Wi-Fi network -- you connect to it and run the app, and the tablet is now a display for the microscope. You can take pictures, etc. Note that the network is not secure, so somebody else could connect to your microscope and see what you're looking at.

Unfortunately the Microscope is not compatible with Android ver10. Advertising say compatible with Android 4.4 or better. I contacted the manufacturer, and they have no idea of the problem. Terrible technical support. Fortunately amazon has a good return policy.

This app worked fine for me 3 months ago, but for the past 3 months I can still connect to the Suear Wi-Fi just fine, but the app never presents the Home icon, so I cannot select to view the live video stream. I updated this app to v1.34.b18, and also installed it onto a different device as well (another Samsung Galaxy device, this one a Note 8). The app still won't display an image from my model X8 camera; not on either phone. Neither device screens offer a live image from the camera.

STUPID. SOOOOOO. STUPID. REALLY. GUESS I'm THE STUPID. HAD NO IDEA IT Can't BE USED WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN A CELL PHONE. REALLY. REALLY. NO...REALLY? THINK ILL SNAP ITS NECK, LIKE LD ON CURB BROKE THE SELFIE STICK. PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY GOOD.
