Doomscrolling Blocker Pushgate

Pushgate puts a gate in front of the apps that eat your time. To get through, you pay in push-ups or squats. Ten reps, fifteen minutes. Stop doomscrolling by making every scroll cost something.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick the apps you want locked
• Open one of them and the gate comes down
• Do your reps in front of the camera. Pushgate counts them
• The gate opens for the minutes you earned, then closes again, even in the middle of a scroll

A REP COUNTER THAT COUNTS
The push up counter and squat counter only count a full rep: down, deep enough, and back up. Bending your arms while standing does not count as a push-up. You hear a beep for every rep, so you never have to look at the screen. Tested against real workout videos, rep by rep.

HONEST ABOUT THE PRICE
One locked app with push-ups is free. You see what is free and what Pushgate Pro costs before the app asks for any permission. Pro adds unlimited apps, squats and your own toll (reps and minutes). It is a weekly or yearly subscription; price, term and renewal are shown in full before you buy, and you can cancel any time in Google Play.

PRIVATE
Camera pictures are analysed on your phone and are never saved or uploaded. No account, no ads.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Pushgate uses the Android Accessibility service for one purpose: to notice which app comes to the front, so it can show the gate in front of the apps you locked. It does not read screen content and does not see what you type.

Earn screen time, cut your phone addiction down to size and get stronger while you are at it.

Recent changes:
New: share your progress. One tap makes a story card with your push-ups, your streak and the scroll time you earned. Pushgate now also shows what you have achieved so far, and if you start a free trial, it reminds you one day before it ends so you are never charged by surprise. Clearer setup: lock your first app, feel the gate, then decide on more. Small fixes and polish.
