Through the App , you may not only access to advanced functions of your robot for your daily home floor cleaning, but also set up preferred cleaning zones and time as you like. Now you could do your home floor cleaning at your hand with the help of Dreamehome.
Remote Control: You could control and operate the robot like the machine staying with you, once the robot is connected to App. Whether you are outside home or far away from the robot at home, you would locate the robot in the map, adjust the parameters, check out the cleaning schedule etc.
Device Information: With the App, you could explore the full functions of your robot, learn about the working status, get error or task messages, check the usage data of accessories etc.
House Map: A cleaning map of your house will help your robot learn and understand the space of your home. By mapping, you could set up the cleaning task with the right rooms or areas for each cleaning task by Dreame robot.
Cleaning by special area: When only a special small area needs a quick cleaning right away, the function cleaning by special area is exactly the right thing for you.
No-Go Zone: If there is any area not to go for cleaning, a simple frame mark could give you a safe cleaning area.
Cleaning Schedule: Set up the cleaning day and time, even the zones as you preferred so that your robot works at the right time for the right zone.
Firmware OTA: OTA (Over The Air) technology will help you upgrade your robot software to the latest version. You would not miss any update from our continuous improvement and new function release.
Voice control: After you finishing signing up the App and adding your robot, your device may work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant by an connecting operation.

I couldn't be more pleased! I used to swifter mop all the time. Go through 3 or 4 pads a day and lots of the floor cleaner. Coming home and having my floors so clean gives me peace of mind. The L40 Ultra Gen 2 is an outstanding robot vacuum with excellent cleaning performance and obstacle avoidance. However, the app experience for multi-floor homes is unnecessarily complicated. Switching between saved floor maps requires several manual steps before shortcuts and room settings become available. It would be much better if shortcuts automatically selected the correct floor map and started cleaning. Great hardware, but the app needs refinement.

For a robot vacuum cleaner experience is okay, but if you have a robot lawnmower the app is one of the worst I've ever used. The app (until proven otherwise) assumes it's in an error state. When it connects, it urges you to subscribe to newsletters and other marketing BS. It deviates from any UX best practice and misses fundamental features in map editing and spotty connection makes this app extremely frustrating to use.

This app is what happens when you let Hardware developers write a User-facing Software product, then let the marketers insert their 2-cents too. COMPLETELY UNINTUITIVE. It's taken me weeks to get to the point where I know how to kick off a Mop-After-Vac run. There have been precisely ZERO UX specialists involved with the development of this app, I guarantee it. It will get the vacuum going, but NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT. I have better things to do with my time than being an app beta tester!

The app displays a popup banner ad every time I launch it. I have to press a close button to actually use my robot cleaner, which they sell as a premium device. What kind of premium experience is that?
