Through the App , you may not only access to advanced functions of your robot for your daily home floor cleaning, but also set up preferred cleaning zones and time as you like. Now you could do your home floor cleaning at your hand with the help of Dreamehome.
Remote Control: You could control and operate the robot like the machine staying with you, once the robot is connected to App. Whether you are outside home or far away from the robot at home, you would locate the robot in the map, adjust the parameters, check out the cleaning schedule etc.
Device Information: With the App, you could explore the full functions of your robot, learn about the working status, get error or task messages, check the usage data of accessories etc.
House Map: A cleaning map of your house will help your robot learn and understand the space of your home. By mapping, you could set up the cleaning task with the right rooms or areas for each cleaning task by Dreame robot.
Cleaning by special area: When only a special small area needs a quick cleaning right away, the function cleaning by special area is exactly the right thing for you.
No-Go Zone: If there is any area not to go for cleaning, a simple frame mark could give you a safe cleaning area.
Cleaning Schedule: Set up the cleaning day and time, even the zones as you preferred so that your robot works at the right time for the right zone.
Firmware OTA: OTA (Over The Air) technology will help you upgrade your robot software to the latest version. You would not miss any update from our continuous improvement and new function release.
Voice control: After you finishing signing up the App and adding your robot, your device may work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant by an connecting operation.

Love the robot, but the app needs some work. It would help of you can add a wall, or remove a wall completely. The mapping does not hinder the job, it still cleans perfectly, but the map it made looks nothing like my house. EDIT: took a while but figured it out. Partition the space, and it adds a wall that you can move. also, please add a male voice, Theodore (our robot vacume) deserves his own voice.

The L40 Ultra Gen 2 is an outstanding robot vacuum with excellent cleaning performance and obstacle avoidance. However, the app experience for multi-floor homes is unnecessarily complicated. Switching between saved floor maps requires several manual steps before shortcuts and room settings become available. It would be much better if shortcuts automatically selected the correct floor map and started cleaning. Great hardware, but the app needs refinement.

Annoying intro animation. Some of the English translations are poor. Doesn't have a setting for carpeted rooms, you have to mark a rug across the entire floor. Device isn't good at adjusting itself based on whether it is driving on a hard floor or a rug, particularly at rug edges when it tries to mop the rug! Awful at switching between floors, it should pause somewhere defined to wait for you to move it. Product definitely not as good as it claims or worth the money.

The robot itself works well, but the app is extremely unreliable. This is already the 10 time my Dreame L10s Plus suddenly shows as “Offline” even though the robot is fully functional, connected. The most frustrating part is that every time there is a connection issue or restart, the map and all the detailed settings are not saved, and I have to spend a lot of time to build the map again and again Please fix the connection stability, cloud synchronization, and device sharing issues!
