The app is fine, unlike what others have put it is a reasonable judge of
good driving. What determines your score like time of day, speed, length of
journey, smooth driving and road risk are completely fair, I have been
using this for a couple of months and I've been on a gold rating the whole
time. The only improvements I would make for this app is highlighting the
best times of day to drive and roads to avoid, that way people can use this
information to improve their score and stop complaining. Apart from that it
is simple to score silver and gold, while road risk can be annoying at some
points, this app is perfectly adequate and is worthy of more than a 1*
rating, if the improvements I suggested above were implemented it would
receive a 5* from me.

Most reviews here aren't about the app but rather about the telematics. The app itself is very good, loads quickly and loads your recorded journeys quickly as well. Location accuracy is very good too. The app gives you all the info you need at a glance. In terms of telematics, the device which plugs into your ODB port is very accurate, much more accurate than the "plug and drive" blackbox from Bell for example. Driving at high risk times, >9pm or around rush hour will penalise you most.

The Black box is garbage, or at least the results I get from the app are. The journey report is a cool feature I can see every trip I have made in my car. However the points system is so stupid and broken. I can drive at mid day and get marked down for time of day, however I used my car for work a couple times driving at 5am and scoring 95 points with full marks for time of day... Makes sense. If you do a short journey you don't get marked down for length of journey, instead for road risk....

Very bad app. I get minus points for driving on my own road because to them
it is 'High Risk'. So any short journeys will reduce my score. Another
issue is 'Smooth Driving'. If you drive on small roads you're bound to be
braking often, but the app doesn't understand that so it give you a very
low score because of this. You need to change the algorithm a little so
people that live in 'high risk' roads aren't affected as much.
