Drone Pilot ADS-B for UAS

Drone Pilot ADS-B gives you real-time airspace awareness on your Android device — purpose-built for drone pilots and Part 107 operators.

The app is free. Maps, TFRs, LAANC grids, weather radar, wind, obstacles, power lines and pipelines all work with no receiver, no subscription and no account.

Live ADS-B traffic is the one feature that needs hardware. A pilotADSB receiver includes a free 1-year license and activates itself the first time you connect. You can also build your own (DIY) or use any compatible Stratux unit — those connect with a subscription. This app is not an internet flight tracker; live traffic comes from a receiver, not the internet.

The app is free. A license is only needed to connect an ADS-B receiver.

• A pilotADSB receiver from pilotadsb.com includes a free 1-year license. It activates automatically the first time you connect — nothing to enter.

• For a DIY or third-party Stratux receiver, a subscription unlocks live traffic: $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be managed or cancelled any time in Google Play.

• Guided Connection: answer a few quick questions and the app sets up the best connection, including your phone and receiver on a router or pocket hotspot like Starlink.
• Free satellite maps (USA), now the default. Long-press the map to download an area for offline use.
• Aircraft alerts sound only when the aircraft is heading toward your drone.
• Fixed: the connection screens no longer loop, and an unlicensed receiver no longer keeps popping up the license window.
