Astro- set android magnification to ON in accessibility-gives around 30x mag for focusing on stars. Works on Canon6D usb but cannot get it to work on wireless. Overall quite good. Connection is clunky at times and hav to restart cam or app to connect a few times. Improvements that would be great : When take a shot, the time taken to load that shot and view it, is 4 seconds. Would be great if you could speed that up. Be great to add brightness boost to live view for very low light composing

It's working well with my OnePlus 8 pro running Android 11 and my Canon 70D. Wi-Fi works in the same way as the canon camera connect app. Wired usb connection via OTG cable is even better, much faster, better resolution in the image preview.

Downloaded this app on my Samsung S20 Ultra 5G and tried to use it with my Canon 5DS (with WE-1 Wi-Fi adaptor). Received warning message saying it was developed for older version of Android and the camera never connects so app just closes. Problem is with the app as my camera and phone can connect no problem with Canon Connect!!.. Shame as this app seems to have a lot of promise.

Connecting to Wi-Fi is based on luck. You either get "cannot find a compatible camera" or "Found a camera but cannot establish connection". Also, if you have other Wi-Fi controllers connected to the camera, even if the "set" is different [for Canon], you will not be able to connect to this app. You have to delete all other Wi-Fi controller settings. If somehow you manage to connect through Wi-Fi, it is laggy and unstable. And it doesn't have the sound level function. If you use USB, you can't charge
