Description
Smartphones have become an integral part of our everyday lives. It goes without saying that e-motion also makes full use of the benefits of this technology. The e-motion Mobility App is divided in three sections.
The free section provides you with four pre-set driving profiles that influence the driving behaviour of your e-motion. You can also display the current speed, mileage or charge level on your smartphone and even record and save tours via GPS.
In addition the app informs you about eventual errors and helps you to solve them. It shows you how to properly use the e-motion and the app helps you to prepare when travelling. If necessary you can also update the software of the e-motion wheels via your smartphone.
You want to have both hands free while moving or an extra dose of speed to go faster? With the Mobility Plus Package you can activate a variety of clever additional functions in the Mobility App.
With the Mobility Plus Package you can increase the support speed from 6 km/h to 8,5 km/h and benefit from the Cruise Mode that allows you to keep a permanent speed with only one deflection on the push rim.
In addition you can use all functions of the ECS remote control on your smartphone and remotely control you wheelchair for parking. Moreover the Mobility Plus Package allows you to count the amount of pushes during a recorded tour. All this gives you even more from your e-motion!
In the protected professional section you can individually adapt the driving behaviour of the e-motion. The following parameters can be adjusted: Maximum speed, maximum torque, sensitivity of the sensors as well as the ramp-up and follow-up time.

Very well-designed and organized app. Contains a lot of features, and they are all quickly and easily accessed with a fast and easy-to-use menu. I would recommend all the e-motion M25 users to download the app even if you just want to use the free features. I would also recommend looking at the paid extras/add-ons- for me, they are well worth it. Also, I am glad they are updating the app regularly with fixes and updates. Hopefully they will also release an IOS version at some point. I have checked and any add-ons you buy on the app are registered to your wheels, therefore they will be also available if you buy a new phone or your partner's phone etc., and I'm fairly sure if they release an IOS version they will be replicated there. For information-I'm running it on android 8.0.0. Well done Alber-you've really hit the ball out of the park with these wheels and the app. I imagine they will dominate the power addon market for many years. Please keep reviewing the App and this make updates when necessary for changes to this the OS etc. M25 user. (previously M15 and M12 user).

Microtransactions? In my wheelchair? It's more likely than you might think. I can't believe someone would take advantage of people who buy a product by adding extra charges afterward that lock the user out of certain features. How greedy...if my wheels can go 8,5 km/h, why should I have to pay extra?

I received my rims yesterday. We had to uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times yesterday to get it to stay connected. Today I woke up and guess what, the app doesn't recognize my rims again! I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, and now it doesn't even ask me for my pin. Nightmare.

- one-star deduction because it can't be used simultaneously with the duo drive control unit - one-star deduction because changing between indoor and outdoor mode is only possible with a €100 add-on, this is especially annoying as when the app is connected you can't use the control unit to switch. - two stars deduction because you can't disable the app pin. Even when set to 1111 it takes time to enter while offering little protection as somebody may take your phone when the app is connected.
