Egg Laying Tracker: Henwell

Henwell is the egg laying tracker for backyard chickens: count every egg with one tap, for the whole flock or for each hen, and see at a glance who is laying and who is taking a break. Calm, fast and private. No account, no ads, works offline.

COUNT EGGS WITH ONE TAP
• One tap adds an egg, for the flock or for a single hen.
• Home screen widget with +1 for the flock and up to 4 hens, no need to open the app.
• An egg carton fills up in the shell colors of your hens.
• Evening reminder so no day is forgotten.

YOUR MONTH AT A GLANCE
• Egg calendar for the month, average per day and laying rate.
• Streak for days in a row with entries, and milestones like your 1,000th egg.
• A free share card: "My chickens: 1,243 eggs".

EVERY HEN WITH A NAME
• Name, breed, shell color and hatch date for every hen.
• Laying performance per hen and "Paused for X days" when a hen stops.
• No limit on hens or flock size.

KNOW WHY THEY STOPPED LAYING
• Notes on molt, the winter laying break caused by shorter daylight, when pullets start to lay (18 to 22 weeks) and broodiness.
• Every number has a "Why?" with its source from university extension services.

FEED AND EGG SALES
• Log feed purchases and egg sales, in kg or lb.

HENWELL PRO
• Yearly statistics per hen.
• Cost per egg (feed minus egg sales) and how much you save compared with your own store price.
• Hatch planner for chicken, quail, duck, Muscovy duck, goose, turkey and guinea fowl: incubation countdown, candling days (common practice day 7 and 14), lockdown from day 18 for chickens, and hatch rate.
• Hatch reminders.

• Share card with your cost per egg.
Henwell Pro is a subscription: 2.99 € per month or 17.99 € per year with a 7 day free trial. Cancel anytime in Google Play.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• Everything is stored on your phone, nothing is uploaded.
• Free backup file (export and import), so a new phone never costs you your records.
• Works with your Android backup.
• Internet is only used for buying Pro through Google Play.

ALSO
• Dark mode.
• English and German.

Whether you keep three hens in the garden or a larger backyard flock, Henwell works as a simple chicken egg tracker and egg counter, and grows into a small poultry log with costs and an egg incubation planner when you need it.

Keeping poultry in Germany? Anyone keeping chickens, ducks, geese, quail, turkeys or guinea fowl must register them with the local authority before starting (ViehVerkV § 26): https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/viehverkv_2007/__26.html
Henwell is not affiliated with any government authority.

Henwell is a record book, not veterinary advice. If a hen looks ill, see a vet.
