Description by Froliq(from Google Play)
It is easy to take electric power for granted when we live our lives having access at the flip of the switch, but the reality is much deeper. Electrify San Antonio will take you on a journey through the complex systems of machines, wires, and dedicated workers at CPS Energy that turn the natural powers of our world into electricity consumed by the San Antonio community. With this augmented reality experience, you can easily learn about the life cycle of your energy, from generation to transformation, transmission to distribution, and ultimately- use by you.
Recent changes: Fixed electrical sparks in transmission tower.

Most of the information in the app was new to me, even though I have a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering! I know many things digital but little about power generation, so this was refreshing and informative. I'm also an educator, so the 3D animations seem like an amazing way to reach students in an intractable way!

Now it is also in Spanish! Was really engaging for my 7 yr old nephew. My 16 yr old niece likes it too. 7 yr old needed help to place the augmented reality, then he was able to follow the flow.

Tried it. Starts out with some weird thing telling me to focus my phone on a non-reflective surface and tap the screen to start. Did that but nothing happens. WHAT THE FLIP??? I just want an app to track my account.
