Great app for the elegies devices it has gotten better over time, and you can use more than elegies robot or device in the same app

The app works well with the v4, but I would like to see a menu button for the saved DIY commands on the remote controls screen (similar to the mode selector) and be able to see the cam and operate the DIY buttons.
★★★★★Zachary Crabb· Aug 1, 2023
I'm pretty amazed how you can make your own remote control car, and even better it comes with a camera. (Not sure exactly) and that the Wi-Fi you use for the cars only works for the camera, not your browsing software. 😀

I canot connect through Bluetooth to my v3 robot. The HC-08 can be seen in the near devices on my Bluetooth mEnu in the phone but the app canot see the HC-08 AND CONTINUOUSLY SEARCHES. The phone has android 6.01.

If you can't connect turn on your location, bluetooth and allow the app to use your location
★☆☆☆☆Dallin Young· Mar 13, 2024
I followed the steps to connect in the instructions, and it simply won't work. The V4.0 robot uses a Wi-Fi connection rather than Bluetooth which doesn't make a lot of sense, but even then whenever I tried to connect to the robot with the correct Wi-Fi turned on, it said it was unable to connect.
★★☆☆☆Nate Glover· Mar 24, 2021
Doesn't connect to Bluetooth but the robot its self is awesome. And the app is kind of suspicious of needing location
★☆☆☆☆Bumbly· Apr 25, 2025
App is useless because the camera does not broadcast a signal, either in Upload or Cam mode (Smart Car v4). We double-checked all connections, which are sound, and tried on several devices with no luck. Wi-Fi does not broadcast. Device is fully charged. Additionally, the first two times I started the app, it crashed, and I had to force stop and restart it. We were exited to try and use this but can only use the IR. Also makes it very difficult to program new DIY programs into it.
