I gave Ellie Grid a 4 star because I used to forget to take my pills, and sometimes I would take them and couldn't remember if I took them later in the day. It has helped because: - Alarms, dosages and days of the week are customizable - Latest update has auto Bluetooth connection when in range - Ellie Grid alarms when it's time to take the medication - Ellie Grid generates a report of when the pill box is opened for the that day and keeps history for the week. - The pill count feature notifies me when dosage count is low based on initial setup and dosage. Looks to be a week to 10 day alert. - Customer support response has been great. - How to videos are effective in covering features Why not a 5 star: -While it gives push notifications to my cell phone on some things, push notifications to my android for dosage due, dosage missed and low pill count would be beneficial when not with in ear shot of the pill box alarm. - Push notification for low battery level on the pill box would be a beneficial reminder to recharge Ellie Grid. - The ability to select half dosages would allow tracking accurate usage so the low dosage warning would be accurate. - A customizable Bluetooth name would allow me to track both mine and my sons pill box as he requires my assistance Me and my son have been using Ellie Grid for about 6 months, and it has proven to be a valuable aide.

Very easy & convenient to keep track of meds. The device itself is well-built & has plenty of compartments that are large enough to keep half a mth to a month's worth of meds depending on how large your pills are. The compartments come in different sizes as well, which is really convenient. When entering your meds into the app you can customize the name, how many times a day, how many pills ea time, & of course at what time. Freed me from sorting meds each week. Ugh!!!

Worked for a few days, and now it will only blink red at the box. There are a lot of fundamental problems with how this connects or should I say the lack of connection to the pill box. Very expensive bookend that happens to hold pills. There is no rhyme or reason for it to stop working and very little guidance on how to repair the connection. I'm in the technology field and have been for 20+ years, this seems like a basic app and functioning pillbox with way too many issues. Very disappointed

This is a good idea, but it is not yet usable. The documentation is sparse, and there appears to be no provision for taking your pills early or late. The great need is for some mechanism to reliably tell you when you took your meds off-schedule, and this doesn't allow for that. If my normal pill time is 5:30, and I have to leave at 5:15, I can't tell it I am taking my pills, and if I have forgotten by the time I reach my destination, the unstoppable alarm is no help in remembering.
