No connect issues at all unlike the official Ember app. I do have issues with the temp every now and again. Not sure if it's an issue with the app or the mug itself, but the temp of my coffee will be a lot colder than the temp I've set it at, and I'll try increasing it and there's no difference. The mug was full battery, but again this doesn't happen too often, and I'll happily take this app over the official.

Works much better than the official Ember app. However, notifications seem to be a bit buggy. Set my mug temp and set my phone down to work. When I picked my phone up an hour later, I suddenly got 30+ notifications that my mug had reached its target temperature. Think the app needs some polish on notifications when the phone is idling. Not sure if it's Doze or another battery saving feature baked into Android, but something is causing the app to go to sleep and then suddenly try and catch up.

Purchased a brand-new ember 2 mug and tried to use this app. After going through uninstalling the official app, unpairing and repairing multiple times, the mug would simply never connect to the app. Wish I could give a better review, but it simply never worked.

It thinks the mug is empty every time it hibernates. Slamming the mug down on the table 5–10 times helps half the time. Closing app and toggling blue tooth repeatedly, the other times. It doesn't matter if it hibernates on the charger. After these steps, you don't need the coffee.

Doesn't connect most of the time. Degrees are in 1/10ths for some reason? You can't actually set 3 presets because mixing the dial changes the last preset you used... All in a paid app Edit: Oh, and you can't actually set the mug to max temp. 144.4 is the highest you can go. Not that big of a deal, but this level of jank is everywhere in the app. If it were free, that would be one thing...
