I picked up an FF-680W from the store today and installed this app on my phone. The setup wizard in this app worked fairly well. Not perfect. I'd say you need about the average gen-z level of tech-savviness to be able to set this up; knowing the difference between 2ghz and 5ghz wireless networks and grasping the concept of hopping on different networks and the scanner bringing up its own SSID for the phone to connect to. I would not expect my mom or grandma to be able to successfully use this app to set up their new FF-680W and get it onto their network. Once the thing is set up, the app seems to work well. Scanning photos does exactly what It's supposed to. I only gave it 4 stars because there is a lot of room for improvement as far as what happens after photos are scanned. This app gives the option to do some sort of automated editing and saving the original, but does not tell you which is your original photo. The app displays icons to send the photos to Dropbox, Instagram, etc., but I don't even have those apps installed and sharing the photos there is not possible. I ended up using a USB cable and ADB to pull my photos off to the computer. Also, there are not really any options available to adjust the scanning quality aside from a 300/600dpi. The photos appear to have been compressed with JPEG or something similar. I would like to be able to adjust the settings for maximum photo quality.

Keeps crashing, and I lose all the photos that I e scanned.

Doesn't find scanner. No point to the app, setup process repeatedly glitches out. Am I starting to fear I have made a mistake buying this scanner. FFS- Epson charges money and requires credit card information before providing customer support on a scanner I just bought yesterday? Do yourself a favor - stay away from Epson.

I installed it, had a bug, so I uninstalled it. Installed it another day, and still coming up with the app has a bug.
