EV Charger Scout — Find EV Charging Stations

EV Charger Scout combines the most current data from the U.S. Department of Energy (NREL) and OpenChargeMap into one clean, fast search experience. Whether you're planning a road trip or need a quick top-up across town, find the right charger in seconds.

Your EV. Your Chargers.
Select your vehicle from a database of 574+ electric cars and the app instantly filters results to show only compatible stations — connector type, charge speed, and adapter guidance included. No guessing. No surprises. Just the chargers that work for your car, ranked by how useful they actually are.

Data You Can Trust
Station data is sourced directly from the NREL Alternative Fuels Station database (U.S. Department of Energy) and OpenChargeMap — the world's largest open EV charging registry. Data is refreshed on demand so you always see the latest information, not a snapshot from last week.

Compatible With Every Major Connector
NACS (Tesla), CCS1, CCS2, CHAdeMO, J1772, and Magic Dock — EV Charger Scout shows you exactly which connectors are at each station and whether your vehicle can use them. Planning to use a Supercharger with a non-Tesla? The app explains exactly what adapter you need and whether that station supports it.

Plan Smarter. Charge Faster.
The built-in charging calculator lets you enter your current battery level, your target charge, and your EV's charging rate — and instantly see estimated charge time and cost. Combined with live weather at the station location, you'll know exactly what to expect before you pull in.

For Road Trips and Daily Life
Whether you're crossing a state or just running errands, EV Charger Scout works everywhere NREL and OpenChargeMap have data — which covers the United States and hundreds of thousands of locations worldwide. Searching by address, zip code, or current location all work instantly.

Free to Use. No Account Required.
EV Charger Scout is completely free. No account and no subscription. Open the app and start searching immediately.
