I asked Google how to set up an EV charger to rent to the public. It recommended a specific model of Au tel because it was compatible with EVMatch. I bought and installed 2 chargers. I downloaded the EVMatch app and tried several times to set up my charger with a Stripe account. I finally requested help from EVMatch. I set up an appointment with Craig. He missed the appointment, then asked what model charger I had. He told me the model was not compatible & took off like the wind!

User experience needs improvement. Signup button small, doesn't support google or facebook quick signup, no autocomplete on charging search typing, takes a while to find current location, prices not clear and consistent, doesn't have 2017 Model 3 in dropdown (yes that year exists!), prepaying credits is dumb (why not charge seamlessly as you go, and support Google Wallet!). I just confirmed my email and to confirm it asked me to manually sign in! Should be seamless, this app will fail otherwise!

Actively user hostile interface and charging paradigm. This is then only EV charging app I've encountered that *requires* a reservation, and then requires you to enter your reservation length (basically, it's paying for a parking spot). You don't get a refund if you leave early, and the charger takes forever to unlock (without any indication of what its doing). The app itself is extremely buggy - map doesn't load all the time, it's slow, and confusingly laid out.

This user interface is terrible. I'm on the East Coast and every time you hit search for chargers it redirects you to LA. That's not helpful when I'm in need of chargers on the opposite side of the country. There's no geolocation and the map rendering is terrible on the app. I was listed for almost 2 years and the one person who contacted me to use my charger contacted me through another app and left $2 on my porch because he couldn't get this app to work easily. So I'm done with this company.
