Edit-A few years later-: I've been a long-time member, since a couple of years before the name switch from Scribe. I absolutely love this app and I recommend it to people ALL the time. Some of them actually signed up, lol! I only have one issue, and that is related to audiobook series. I've noticed that about 4 of the last 6 series that I have listened to, do not have the last book!!! It's SOOOO frustrating 😒 Can we do something... ANYTHING... about that?!?!!

Very good app with loads to read & listen to. Good quality too. But throttles both ... hides books after you read or listen 'based on your history'. Suddenly u can't see what u were reading a day back or most of the saved titles.

Good audible alternative. Audiobooks and books. The collection is not as big as amazon. That's my only critic. It's like a Library. Monthly fees. Borrow and read as much, return it, come back as often, but you don't own the book.

This used to be a great app that encouraged my teenagers to read or listen to books, but with the new plan we pass the download limits quickly, and the unlimited section is not very good. Everand increased the price, and now they have a much worse product. I will not be renewing our subscription.

I like the old version better before they went to the unlocked version. I have the 16.99 subscription, and you only get 3 unlocked a month. I'm a huge reader and most of the audiobooks by the authors I read and listen to need to be unlocked. We had so many unlimited choices, and now I feel we don't. I read alot of African American Romance books and Urban romance. They all have to be unlocked now. Just not happy with it. I'm still going to use it.

First off I really dislike this service because you can't carry over credits and once you cancel your subscription you don't have access to books you paid to unlock previously. This is very poor. Once realized, I extricated myself asap. The only good thing is that it has ebooks and audiobooks. The app is clunky. Often took multiple attempts to download books but also even when I've downloaded an audiobook it still streams using up data. It doesn't cope if you are offline & jumps around.

I chose this subscription over others like audible because of the price and the large selection of books, access to Scribe as well. I see now they are changing their model to only 3 books a month for $20+ or 1 unlock for less and no more access to scribe. So charging us way more for way less service. Typical of a company that lets money go to their head. Not sure I'll be keeping up with this given the new options. Unfortunate because it used to be the best out there in my opinion
