Good audible alternative. Audiobooks and books. The collection is not as big as amazon. That's my only critic. It's like a Library. Monthly fees. Borrow and read as much, return it, come back as often, but you don't own the book.

There are so many esoteric titles!! I love having access to many esoteric books for reference without having to purchase and use just one book while not really knowing if it's really for me. Thanks to Everand, I get a chance to experience many different titles, and then I will later know what books that I love and use enough to actually buy them.

I've used everand (previously Scribe) for years now and until recently was happy paying for the service. However, the new business model feels actively hostile towards its customers. Forcing customers to pay extra for a "premium subscription" for one unlock a month for titles that were previously available is honestly upsetting. Yet again we had what was once a good app turn around and squeeze its customers for more for less access. Not worth it. Apps also unstable af.

They get you with the 3 unlocks vs audible giving you 1 credit per month for the same price. BUT I can still log into audible and listen to all the books I've already unlocked with my credit. You can't do that here AND the "unlimited" selection is lame af!!! Nothing worth listening to at all! Everything good you gotta unlock and of course that includes literally ALL AA romance. So if you're looking for AA romance, and you're considering this app DoesN'T.
