Update to my previous review: I was able to reconnect my bank, but had to call my bank directly, as no concierge was able to give me a reason as to the issues. Extra actually helped me improve my credit score for the months that I used it, and the concept is brilliant. That being said... my bank is suddenly 'not compatible,' with Plaid (who Extra uses to verify banking info, etc.), with no explanation.

The Extra Credit Card is a great option for individuals looking to establish or rebuild their credit history. Customer service is A1 and the wait time is not long I really appreciated that I was given excellent customer service. Do NOT get this credit card!!!! They never report to the credit companies, so your credit never goes up, and if you cancel it, they tank your credit. My husband's credit went down 19 points just because he cancelled this card. Save yourself, it's a scam.

They take way too long to draft the money out of your account and will leave you in the negative. Be careful. Definitely not worth the $25 monthly membership fee. And they will not refund your monthly membership fee if you don't cancel before 30 days. It's in the terms and conditions of the fine print. I learned the hard way.
