Description
The ezDevice APP is for device with 'UIS (Uninterrupted Internet System)' or 'Auto Reset' function. Currently supported UIS device are: MSNswitch2, ezOutlet5 and ezJack.
Internet users at one time or another have experienced the pains of network loss. Mostly, this is resolved by manually unplugging and re-plug router power to reboot it. This can range from being cumbersome if the device is in a difficult to reach cupboard to a major pain if it involves a long drive to the site.
In comes UIS devices which automatically power-cycle when network failure is detected. This is achieved by connecting the router’s power and LAN to the UIS device and let it monitor internet connectivity. If internet becomes unreachable, it will auto power-cycle the power to router. The majority of internet disconnections can be resolved this way - saving both time, costs and headaches.
The user can also check on the status and perform a manual reboot via the ezDevice APP to ensure optimal functionality of network devices. UIS devices can also be configured to perform power on, off and reset at scheduled times thru this APP.
Setup in just a few simple steps; i. Install ezDevice APP and sign up for a free cloud account to centralize and manage your UIS devices. ii. Connect power and ethernet to UIS device. iii. Add UIS device to APP over LAN or WAN. iv. Enable UIS (Auto Reset) function – done.

Works pretty well. I Use it to reset my media server if away from home. Sometimes media server does not respond. Server is set to reboot on power failure so this device cuts power and the computer reboots. Works great. My only BEEF is the app should tell you the WAN IP address. Sometimes my ISP changes IP and I cant know what it is remotely. This device could add that info to the network tab (currently only shows lan address) then it would be 5 stars

App does what it's supposed to. Set up of dual outlet device with cloud server went well, no problems. Wish list would include: Being able to access device log; reset both outlets at same time; layer 3 device set up with cloud, with manual entry of public I.P.

Don't download the app doesn't work majority of the time I recommend just using the web interface. It's much easier and reliable. Deleting the app

After recent firmware upgrade (uis-622) and app update, requests to turn on/off frequently time out or get executed with significant delay (several minutes).

An update took a critical server down with an unscheduled power down. No update should change the power on state. Could not power back up until update completed. Disappointed with remote app software quality.

Does not like to connect with the device. First it told me it couldn't recognize the S/N (I triple checked it for accuracy). Somehow it magically connected. Now it just says "we are experiencing high traffic. Please try again later.". Been that way for hours.
