Description
fanSync gives you the ability to control your AC ceiling fan with your Android device. You first must install a fanSync receiver into your ceiling fan, then download the fanSync app here in the Android store to your Android device.
Requirements: To install the fanSync application on your Android device, the device must be currently supported by the manufacturer and have BLE enabled. Your Android device must also be running Android 4.4 or newer. Installing the app requires an internet connection however using the app only requires BLE.

My husband uses the app to turn the light on and off however he finds the light is difficult to turn off from his cell phone, although it does dim easily, I use the wall mounted handheld receiver. I have another fan which has the makers controls wired on the wall and a handheld receiver, it seems to work more efficiently. Both handheld controls are difficult to dim and brighten the light easily.

Slow to recognize fans at times but generally works well. The sliding disable lighting control is a bit glitchy.

Worst app I've ever used! It messed up my wall remote and 2 handheld remotes. Re-learning on them is not working now. And one of my fans now decides to beep whenever it wants and won't stop until I turn the power off to fan. Even after the app has been uninstalled! I really like Animation fans, have them throughout the house, but they need to get it together with the remotes and this app.

It works. Takes forever to refresh and list fans. Doesn't always show all fans. IOS version works great. Remotes with fans are horrible. For the love of God, please make this app work like IOS version.

You can have the receiver back. Doesn't find the fan, yet I see it in the Bluetooth menu. Asks for a pin. No pin provided. Fan is a brick. Sometimes the app says set up new fan but doesn't seem to be a real button. Tap on it, and it does nothing but time out, doenst connect and/or crashes me to the home screen. I've tried with numerous devices on different Android/ios versions, and it still is a glitchy mess. Needs work. Did the wrong version app get pushed??
