How much does felyx cost?

Do I need a driver’s license?
To rent an e-moped, you need a Class B, A, or AM license. For e-bikes, no driver’s license is required.
Can I drive and park outside a service area?
You can drive outside the service zones shown on the map, but starting and ending a rental is only possible within those areas.

Over the past year I was increasingly experiencing problems with the app, to a point where I stopped using Felix. But with the new update I have not had any issues, and the service staff deserves a mention too, they are always able to help when issues do arise.

The Felix app is unreliable and scammy. It often fails, leaving me stranded by the moped while waiting for slow support to end the ride. Service zones disappear without notice, misleading users into thinking they can return the bike to the same spot. To top it off, Felix threatens me with a €70 fine. Instead of offering a reliable service, they choose to intimidate and deceive. Avoid Felix – it's a waste of time and money.

I love these scooters, they're very handy to get around the city. If that was it, I would've given 5 stars. However, should you run into any issues with starting / stopping a scooter, be prepared for a bad experience. Examples: I just waited 30 mins in the chat queue to have my scooter stopped (there's no phone number anymore). Previously I've had scooters not respond and suddenly activate 5 minutes later while I'd already left. And stopping was again only possible through customer service.
