The First Final Fantasy that started a legendary series. I would have to say that this port is almost perfect! The super sped up battles and actions might be a turn off for some people, but it helps with this turn-based classic. The big key change from the PSP, 3DS, and IOS versions of this game is that there is no bonus dungeon; no Whisperwind Cove, no Chronodia, nothing! Just the bare bones game with the original content which might make the title feel a bit short. This is a solid port.

Buying Google credit tomorrow to play final fantasy remastered. I am excited. Hoping for compatibility and bug fixes as well as hoping that it runs smoothly. Take my money :) PS bought the game in 2019 and didn't like controls. Also this final fantasy 1 is a party customization and cool spell resources. Enjoy.

Quick word of warning, even though this is basically a straight port or the Dawn of Souls Version, for some reason Square Enix decided to remove all added content from the game (Soul of Chaos dungeons, bestiary, etc.). It's still a bare bones but prettier version of the original game, but the fact that Square decided to downgrade it and remove content when there was literally no reason to makes me angry. The definitive version of this game is on the GBA. This is literally a pale imitation.

Just bought this, network error and the game closed me out. Unplayable. A shame square isn't supporting these games mobile. Would prefer an actual console port instead.

Why can the characters only move at warp speed? What is this checking license nonsense every single time, it takes 30 seconds just to get to the main menu. Why does the D pad take up half the screen like they think we're all 90 years old? I wound up uninstalling and refunding this app. If you are in an area without a good signal, you can't even play. It's pointlessly checking the license for an $8 game with zero networking/multiplayer functionality. Honestly I expected better from square.
